After 55 years of theater history, the Swiss mask theater company MUMMENSCHANZ is bidding farewell to its audience with its farewell tour “Adieu!” Since 1972, the company has been thrilling audiences on every continent with its unique performances without words, music, or stage sets—poetic, timeless, and universally understandable.
The program “Adieu!”, compiled by Floriana Frassetto, brings together highlights from over five decades of MUMMENSCHANZ: iconic characters, bizarre objects, and some new surprising images merge into an imaginative journey full of poetry, quiet comedy, and magic. A touching theater experience for all generations – and the last opportunity in Switzerland to experience a piece of living theater history live.
The tour starts on December 3, 2026, in Zurich and will visit 25 theaters throughout Switzerland until the end of 2027.
