Following a revamp that took around one and a half years to complete, the former 'Stadthof 11' was transformed into the modern new space now known as Theater 11 Zürich, which has won several architecture prizes. The theatre reopened to the public on 3 December 2006 with its premiere of the musical WE WILL ROCK YOU. The theatre is located right next to the Messe Zürich exhibition centre and has over 1,500 seats. Theater 11 Zürich offers a spacious bar for up to 300 guests as well as the Restaurant Theater 11 Zürich. The restaurant is also available to book for company events and galas for those looking to hold events in an extra-special setting.
